Care that is professional, reliable and relationship-based.
Be partnered with a compatible CAREGiver you can rely on.
As we age, some of the day-to-day tasks we used to be able to complete can become more challenging. This isn’t necessarily about losing independence. In fact, it’s about simply having a helping hand to accompany and keep you accountable to attend important appointments, ensure your safety, and make sure you have the support you need to live comfortably and at ease.
Whether it be struggling to hang the laundry, a helping hand with the groceries, transport or medication reminders, or showering and dressing, these daily tasks are just the beginning of what your trained and insured CAREGiver will support you with.
(To see the full list, visit our Home Care page here)
Each member of our CAREGiver team has been trained and are qualified to deliver premier care to you, to best suit your needs as well as lifestyle.
Your CAREGiver will be assigned to you based on not only your care needs, but on your personal interests, personality, and hobbies. Because we firmly believe that the best care and support, is personal and relationships-based as opposed to task-based. And whether it’s support around the house or on outings, our CAREGivers would much rather be seen as your friend than your “carer”.
They are the heart of our business
Passionate dedication. Extraordinary service. Authentic Care. At Home Instead, our goal is to enhance your life, your health and your happiness so you can continue living independently at home with confidence.
Each of our CAREGivers are professional qualified. They have undergone pre-employment checks, screening, structured interviews, comprehensive reference and criminal background checks so you have utmost peace of mind.
All our CAREGivers are covered under our relevant insurance policies. From workers’ compensation, public liability, and professional indemnity – it’s a non-negotiable investment for us, as it is peace of mind for you.
We continuously invest into the personal and professional development of our CAREGiver family. This begins from commencement with us, where our CAREGivers undertake our comprehensive, nationally accredited, in-house GRAD training, to further continuous learning opportunities to upskill and learn. (For more about the program, read about it under: “GRAD” below).
Consistent & compatible
We understand the care and the bond formed between you and the CAREGiver is personal. Therefore, you can expect the same, familiar, friendly face(s) whenever you start your care and support journey with us at Home Instead. Your personally assigned to a CAREGiver (or a team of carers), who will be with you every step of the way.
Personal introduction, quality assured
Before your in-home service commences, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with your CAREGiver first to ensure you feel comfortable. From there, we will complete quality assurance home visits, to ensure you and your family are 100% satisfied with the service at all times.
