Understanding In-Home Care, in a Safe Space!
OUR GOAL: To facilitate an open forum in a safe space (home) where people can talk about what they are currently experiencing and ask questions about the care options available.
Join Home Instead for a unique and informal ‘host party’ format to provide ageing adults with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to age with confidence.
We understand that attending large scale community events can be daunting and sharing yours (or a loved ones) challenges with ageing can be quite uncomfortable. Home Instead’s “Our Home or Yours” initiative gives seniors in the North & South regions of Perth, the opportunity to either host a small & friendly aged care group session at their own home or attend one at our office.
You volunteer your home, and we’ll do the rest!
Home Instead’s “Our Home or Yours” initiative hosts small & safe gatherings, either at YOUR home or one of our local offices.
Here are some key details to know about hosting or attending our aged care parties:
- ‘My Aged Care’ referrals completed on the spot!
- Home Instead will supply morning/afternoon tea for all
- Aged care party hosts will receive a ‘thank you goodie bag’
- Maximum of 8 attendees per session to keep it casual and comfortable
- Tips and assistance on navigating ‘My Aged Care’
