What our Clients say:

“I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all the support and assistance we received from Home instead.
Lewis would not have been able to have spent the years after his hip fracture at home without all of your care and attention and we can’t thank you enough.

I particularly would like to mention all of Lew’s regular carers who always attended to his needs with respect and compassion and a sense of humour .

Again, thank you for your unwavering support . I know Dad will miss seeing his carers.”

“The family are very grateful for the support that Emmanuel provides for Peter. They feel that Peter’s health is much better since having Emmanuel and they feel that Emmanuel is such a patient and positive person that this helps to uplift Peters mood. George explained that Peter is not a very complimentary person and doesn’t even compliment him, but is extremely complimentary about Emmanuel and enjoys his company very much, and the fact that he speaks Greek is a bonus.

They look forward to seeing Emmanuel back in the new year.”

“I am writing to formally thank your support workers who attended for many months to Mr Victor.

Sadly, Vic passed away earlier this week in hospital after a long period of illness and frailty and he became palliative.

I have spoken to the family who are relieved he is no longer in pain and now at rest. The family have expressed to me that this journey with Vic over the many months of managing him at home has been made easier by the care and support of home instead.
They not only ensured his personal care was met to the highest standards but also attended to his emotional care needs. Caregiver’s both went the extra mile, massaging his feet and hands, singing to him and doing many extra tasks we may never know about. This level of care maximised Victor’s quality of life for the time he was home on the Home Care Program and supported his wife Dot in so many ways.

In further praise of the caregiver’s the hospital reported the wonderful skin integrity on Vic for someone who had been cared for at home; he had no reported skin tears and or breaks something they do not see when someone is admitted to hospital from home.
If you could pass on our thanks not only to caregiver’s but the support team who work on rostering and attending to our many phone calls and emails, it is greatly appreciated.”

“Aldo is in palliative care, the doctor said he may go in these few days. I would like to, on behalf of Lily, express our gratitude to you and Jen. Lily thanks Jen for her great care and concern, and her advice on more protein in his breakfast milk. Jen has been doing a great job. Also, Lily would like to thank you for sending Jen, such a great carer.”
