Our CAREGivers & Support Staff are here to help!

Compassionate Care for your Elderly Patients in their own home!

Home Instead offer a wide range of support services – all with the aim of making patients feel safe, secure and supported in their own home.

Patients are personally matched with fully trained CAREGivers, depending on their needs, care requirements or interests. At Home Instead, we truly value the relationship between a client and a CAREGiver, for this reason we aim to have the same CAREGivers providing care for our clients during each and every visit.

That way, each patient is regularly greeted by a friendly, familiar face.  Each of our CAREGivers are carefully screened and trained, and only when we’d be happy for them to care for our own family, will they care for someone else’s.  The Home Instead care management team can regularly update the patients medical professional team as to their progress at home. Whether a patient needs short term care for a few hours per week or longer term 24 hour home care, we can develop a plan that will suit.

We can help your patients with a variety of reliable and professional services!

Our CAREGivers truly care with many having firsthand experience caring for an older friend or relative. They are compassionate, dependable and professionally trained.

Professionally Trained CAREGivers

Our CAREGivers are employed directly by Home Instead, are fully insured and undergo a thorough screening process including background and reference checks. They receive nationally accredited training delivered by our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) – the Home Instead Academy. The ACE (Advanced CAREGiver Education) training provides our CAREGivers with the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care to our clients.

We individually match our clients to our CAREGivers to ensure they share a positive and compatible relationship with companionship at the heart of every visit. We look for empathy and emotional intelligence in our CAREGivers.

Our onboarding training provides a pathway for completing the accredited Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) course. In addition, our CAREGivers also undertake in-depth training in dementia and palliative care.
