Foodbank Victoria is the pantry to the Victorian charity sector. It works with 400+ frontline charities and school breakfast programs to provide quality meals to those in need. The donation from Home Instead Melbourne Inner North will provide 20,000 meals to Victorians who are struggling.

According to Foodbank Victoria’s CEO Dave McNamara, every two days the charity feeds the equivalent of an MCG crowd – 100,000 people.

“Without help of this kind, we couldn’t keep up with the escalating demand. Knowing we have support to keep doing what we do gives our hardworking staff and volunteers a real boost,” Mr McNamara said, adding the donation will have an immediate impact.

Melbourne Inner North Managing Directors Billy Skoric and John Herbert said they were aware many people in the community were doing it tough as cost of living pressures grew. “We know Foodbank Victoria’s services are in high demand and we are very proud to be supporting Victorians who need a helping hand,” Billy said.
