Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do older adults need my support?

Our mission at Home Instead is to enhance the lives of ageing adults and their families. As we age, we are more likely to face social discrimination and exclusion, reduced access to financial security and health care, loss of mobility and difficulty with everyday tasks. At Home Instead Charitieswe support a variety of projects and programs that are aimed at providing a better quality of life to older adults and their families.

  • Where does my donation go?

Your donation is used to support charities and programs that provide care for less fortunate and vulnerable older adults. This includes programs such as the Mater Foundation Healing Garden and the Inala Wangarra – Healthy Ageing Hub. Home Instead Charities also supports a range of local community initiatives that make our suburbs a better place to live for all of us, including those of us who are ageing. One such project is the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, New South Wales.
