Intergenerational Easter Event
Twenty Home Instead clients joined with 10 pre-schoolers from Little Coast Kids in San Remo to share an Easter morning tea, while making and decorating of Easter cards. The seniors and children also participated in an Easter Egg Hunt and enjoyed a walk along the lakefront.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for ageing Australians to enjoy the company of a younger generation, which studies have shown to increase the happiness of older people as well as promoting better physical health and higher levels of hope for the future.
