Inala Wangarra, an indigenous NFP community development organisation in one of our local Home Instead territories, undertakes important work with our local indigenous community. An opportunity arose to support their Healthy Ageing Hub launch, which culminated with a Turn Back Time Dance. Local owner Myles and his wife, Virginia, who have run their business (supporting seniors) in this area for 10 years, felt a donation in support of the Healthy Ageing Hub was the perfect way to mark their 10-year milestone and give back to the community.

Inala Wangarra delivers a variety of sport, recreation, justice, education, employment, health, cultural and arts programs for all ages.

The launch of this very important initiative (Healthy Ageing Hub) offered Home Instead an opportunity to meet the wonderful Elders within the local community and learn more about the Healthy Ageing Hub, witness beautiful old school dancing and of course, indulge in yummy food. Inala Wangarra is excited to partner with Home Instead to build a safe and accessible space for our Indigenous Elders.
