About this opportunity
The Finance Officer is responsible for performing a variety of duties to manage the financial administration within the Home Instead network.
This includes accounts payables, accounts receivables, and bank reconciliation. This position also provides support to the network of corporate offices and franchise offices regarding transactional tasks and system enquiries.
Based in our Toowong office on a 6-month contract, this opportunity calls for someone with a background working in finance with strong communication and administrative skills.
In this role you will:
- Process and manager supplier invoices and employee expense claims
- Handle invoice approvals, payment runs, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and manage creditor payment
- Manage Home Care Package client balances, prepare financial statements and process claims.
- Support month end activities and account reconciliations
- Providing general financial administrative support to ensure quality is being delivered
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a finance role.
- Relevant accounting, finance, or related qualification advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
- Experience using Net Suite, Aurion or similar ERPs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in using the MS Office Suit
- Strong customer service skills with a flexible approach
