Due to exciting expansion within Home Instead, we have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Projects Team. This role forms part of a team that are focused on providing exceptional support to the Home Instead National Office and franchise network.

The Business Analyst is responsible for assisting with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments; identifying problems and opportunities within our business and ultimately providing solutions that will achieve our business goals. This opportunity calls for someone with a commercial mindset and technical background.

This role will be offered on an initial 12-month full time contract. It could also suit someone looking for a day rate engagement.

It could also suit someone who is based outside of Brisbane and open to working remotely.

In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • Elicitation of business requirements and translation into functional and technical specifications
  • Analysing, designing and developing creative solutions for quality outcomes
  • Identifying and championing business process improvement opportunities
  • Working closely with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure business needs are properly modelled, analysing and aligning to the business strategy
  • Working closely with stakeholders and identifying impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
  • Applying a risk mindset and ensuring our products and services meet our regulatory compliance obligations
  • Developing user cases, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Overseeing the analysis, testing and deployment of the business requirements through the development lifecycle

About you

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Alayacare experience would be highly regarded
  • Proven data &, analytical and diagrammatical skills
  • Proven experience in business process mapping and business process improvement
  • AlayaCare or similar systems experience in Sugar CRM, Salesforce, Netsuite, Aurion
  • Proven troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to travel interstate and work outside normal hours (when required).
